The hands were copied from one of Jackie's drawing books. I started sketching Martin Freeman, but as usual got distracted before finishing it. Tried to copy a photo of an Indian ornamental elephant.
I started using the nib given by a friend and some ink. It's messy to use and it'll take a while to get used to, but I like using it. Flickr reference photos used.

Drawing trees is starting to grow on me. Ha. I'm actually starting to not hate it - in fact, I think drawing trees is nearly relaxing.
